Ann Elizabeth Terrell

Ann Elizabeth Terrell, also called Betty in family-tree notes, was born in 1695 in New Kent County, Virginia. She was the daughter of William Richmond Terrell and Martha Susannah Waters Terrell. She reportedly married David Lewis in New Kent County in 1717 and was said to have had eight children. She died in 1734; her death is recorded as occurring in Hanover County, Virginia, although the notes express uncertainty about the locality.

Ann Elizabeth Terrell, called Betty in the family-tree notes, was born in 1695 in New Kent County, Virginia. One record cited in the notes says that she was “born” in the Freshes of the Pamunkey, an area described there as north of the York River near the Pamunkey and Matiponni rivers.

She was the daughter of William Richmond Terrell and Martha Susannah Waters Terrell. The notes also refer to her mother as Susannah Waters Terrell. No christening record was found in the material provided.
