Mary Marie Dorothie Rushall
30 NOV 1561 – FEB 1626/27 · 13th great-grandmotherMary Marie Dorothie Rushall, born 30 November 1561 and said to have died in February 1626/27, was a member of Barbara’s family branch and the 13th great-grandmother of James Dempsey Waters "WWII-TDCJ." A will made by Margery Rushall in 1598 identifies a daughter Marye, wife of Edward Goodman, and names members of Marye’s Goodman family.
A will made on 13 January 1598 by Margery Rushall of Badby, Northamptonshire, describes Marye as Margery’s daughter and as the wife of Edward Goodman. Margery left Marye one pair of sheets and two pewter dishes, one larger and one smaller.
The will also names Marye’s children. Dorothy, described as Marye’s eldest daughter, was the wife of Richard Robins of Long Buckby; Dorothy received one sheep. Continew Robins, identified as Dorothy’s daughter, also received one sheep. Marye’s son John Goodman received one sheep, and her daughter Sara Goodman received a young yearling heifer and one sheep.
Margery Rushall’s will was proved on 12 April 1603. Mary is said to have died in February 1626/27. The supplied relationship path places her as the mother of Dorothy (Rushell) Goodman and as an ancestor in the Waters and Robins lines.
